100% of the proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to the Tourette’s Association of New Zealand

Brian has what adults like to call ‘an active imagination.’

However, after a strange encounter with his weirdo neighbour, Brian begins to experience a series of strange and unexplainable events. Events that lead Brian down a path to discover that maybe, just maybe… his imagination isn’t all in his head after all.

THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY:

Author Teams Up with Young Illustrator to Normalise Tourette Syndrome and Support Families in Need

Children's author, and mum of a child with Tourette’s, Fran Cain has partnered with young illustrator Benjamin Heaven, who has Tourette Syndrome, to create a touching story that helps people understand Tourette's and supports affected families. Based on her own experiences, Cain's new book follows Brian Wilkins, a boy with a big imagination and some tics, on an adventure that promotes understanding and acceptance of Tourette Syndrome.

All proceeds will support the Tourette's Association of New Zealand, thanks to production sponsorship from VBuild.

Each book sold will help raise awareness and provide important resources for families facing this often-misunderstood condition. This holiday season, consider giving a copy of Brian’s story or donating one to a child in need.

Your support can greatly help families dealing with the challenges of Tourette's while promoting kindness and understanding.

We are also offering the option to donate a book to a child in need this Christmas. To do this, please select “Pick up” at the checkout.
